I want to introduce you to what I call the Double D factor in growing your own home based business. The first D is the dream factor. Every great entrepreneur started with first having a dream. Every business that you will find out there offering you a chance at financial freedom will always start their training with you visualizing your dreams. When I lived out around Chicago, I remember visiting some friends in Chicago and their Grandmother was designing plaques with a place to put basketball cards. I was thinking to myself about what a good idea this was. I picked one up and looked it over and soon realized what a brilliant message it proclaimed. There were just three words inscribed on this plaque which was Dare To Dream! and the right under this message was a basketball card of Michael Jordan flying through the air to make a basket. Over 15 years has past since that day and I have never forgotten those three words. You can achieve anything in life if you would just Dare To Dream. If you want your business to be successful then you must incorporate the dream factor into your business. You must remind yourself of those dreams on a daily basis. You see Michael Jordan was one of the greatest basketball players of all time because he Dared To Dream. Those dreams pushed him even when he thought all hope was lost. With all that is going on in the world today don’t lose your dreams. Let your dreams push you forward even when you think all is lost. I want to close with a quote from Michael Jordan ” I have failed over and over and over again in my life and that is why I success”. When you fail and fail in your business it will be your dreams that will help you to succeed. Building A Successful Business (Part 2)

When thinking about building your business, the second thing you must concentrate on is building you. I am going to discuss what I would consider the next part of building a strong foundation for you business which is the YOU factor. In network marketing especially on the Internet you need to make you as valuable to your team members as possible. I have team members all over the world that I have never been able to meet yet so it is very important to be the best that Ican be so that I can give them the tools that they need to be successful. Remember that I want them to be successful so that I can also be successful. So if I want the ones coming after me to grow I need to grow myself. I need to build a bridge of knowledge within myself to better help my teammates to grow. People will join you not just because of this opportunity you are telling them about but because they believe that You are going in the same direction that they want to go. I read at least a book a month on business development and network marketing.

I got into network marketing about 3 years ago knowing nothing about the business and I soon realized that in order for my business to growth outwardly. I would have to invest everything I could do to build ME from the inside. If you want to be successful in network marketing you MUST be diligent in growing yourself from the inside out. This idea is portrayed in the movie “Field of Dreams” and is wrapped up in the one saying in the movie “If you build it they will come”. If you will build yourself, you will find that people will be more eager to join you. They will realize that you are going in the direction that they have only dreamed of going and they will just want to grab hold of you and enjoy the ride.

In building yourself, you need to realize your dreams and then shoot for the stars. Make some short term goals and long term goals for your business. You also need to have the proper mindset. I wrote a post on this subject and I would encourage you to take a few minutes to read it. Realize also that you can learn something from everyone you run into and every circumstance you face; you must do everything you can to always remain teachable.

In this next post on business growth, I want to discuss with you about having the proper mindset. In order for you to grow a successful business you need to grow first. Vemma has everything in place for you to be successful so you don’t have to re-invent the business wheel. You will need to work on yourself though if you want to grow a large organization.
There are three things I want you to think about having the proper mindset. The first thing is to be successful in this business you must first think successful. Next you must realize that your attitude will always affect your altitude in life. Do you want to walk around with all the other turkeys or do you want to soar with the eagles? Next, people are attracted to people with positive attitudes and the proper mindset. Think about it, do you want to follow someone who always has a gloomy or negitive look on life. You want to follow someone who is not looking for excuses, but for someone who is looking for ways to be successful. In order for people to start flocking to join your team, it is imperative for you to have the proper mindset.
There are three things that you can do to create the proper mindset. You can listen to motivational speakers. I have personnally put a bunch of files on my mp3 player and I will listen to them throughout the course of my day. You can start reading motivational books. I read one motivational book a month. You can also start spending time around motivated and positive people. You will become who you choose to be around the most.
This business is all about the you factor. People will not join your team just because of Vemma; people will follow you because of you. If you want your business to be big you must first think big.

Article Marketing

In this post I will teach the the first strategy to use in generating your own targeted leads on the internet. The great thing is that this advertising will bring you business now and in the future and it will also not cost you a dime. I don’t know about you but when I first started out with my business I didn’t have alot of extra money sitting around. If I could do something for free it was one of my best option and to this day it still is. With article marketing if done right you can write 1 article and that one article will still be bringing you business years down the road. I have found that on the internet search engines crave information like an addict. Your articles will be sucked up by the search engines which will inturn put in front of prospects eyes which will in turn bring them straight to you.

So lets talk about how you can make your article an effective lead generating machine. We want our articles to be something that the search engines are looking for. The first thing is that you don’t want your article to be a big advertisement for your opportunity leave that for your resource box. You do want to write what I like to call a keyword based article. You want to find a keyword that best describes your business and write a 300 to 400 word article on that keyword. In order for your article to be keyword based, you must put that keyword once in your title and once in each paragraph of your article.

The easiest way to find the best keyword is for you to use google keyword search. This tool will show you what keywords are being searched the most by people using the search engines. The publishing sites that I use in isnare.com, ezines.com, article alley.com, article pro.com. There are services out there like submit your article.com that will submit your article to all these different sites but will charge a monthly fee to do this. I would recommend to start out by just submiting them yourself to these sites. You want to start out writing 3 to 4 articles a month, but will eventually be writing 8 to 10 a month. You also want to be consistent with how much you write every month.

The last thing I want to discuss with you is the resource box. In the resource box, you will want to put a brief bio of yourself (about 2 to 3 sentences). You will also want to put a call to action and a link to your website. Create a resource box that you are comfortable with and then you it with every article you write. I saved my resource box on notepad on my computer.

Building A Successful Business (Part 1)

I am putting to gether a series of posts for you geared to helping you lay down the ground work for building a successful business. This first post is going to be a spring board to set the stage for what will be taught in the remaining posts. I want to lay down for you what I would consider a vital foundation for your soon to be growing business. If you can master this concept I believe you will be able to achieve the success that you so desire. I am going to compare your business to a wheel from here on out. You have heard the saying that you don’t have to re-invent the wheel you just need to keep it rolling. This concept is the hubb of that wheel. If you do not want the wheel to collapse under the weight you will need to first have a strong hubb(center). The hubb/foundation of your business can be summed up in this phrase “helping others succeed”. If you want to be a success in network marketing you will want to be able to help others reach the success that you are looking for. When I wake up in the morning I don’t think about how to make more money for myself, I think about how can I make my team reach the financial freedom they are looking for. When I invest money in training it is so I can make other people successful with the information that I have learned. When I look for people to share my opportunity with, it is with the mindset of wanting them to be a success. I believe in the idea of T-E-A-M(Together-Everyone-Achieves-More) work. Andrew Carngie said I would rather have 1% of 100 peoples efforts than 100% of just my own. Sam Walton realized this and instead of creating just one store to shop at; he has put a Walmart in almost every city in the United States. If you want true success and happiness then you must put other’s success in front of your own. This concept must be at the center of everything you do in life especially your business. In the next post I will talk about each spoke of the business wheel seperately but until then go out and put all your efforts into making someone else successful.

When I started with my mlm company, I realized that if I wanted to grow a successful business online that I would have to have an unending supply of leads to grow that business. After spending thousands of dollars on leads and not getting much results, I came to a conclusion that there had to be a better way. I was getting very tired of cold calling these leads and only getting people who truly were not interested on the other end of the phone. Was it possible to come up with a system where people were calling me instead of me having to call them. After a lot of successes and failures, I created a system that allowed me to generate targeted leads that are calling me not me calling them. I am going to put together in the next couple of days the first part in a five part series on how to generate your own targeted leads on the internet.
